Ra Workshop Standard is the basic production edition. It has all the production reports but is limited to compute only rectangular windows and doors. Also, Ra Workshop Standard Edition does not include cutting optimization. This can be purchased as an Add On.

Ra Workshop Standard - Overview
Ra Workshop Standard was designed as a corresponding production edition for Ra Workshop Ultra Lite. It allows you to design only rectangular windows and doors but will generate all the production paper work: profile cuttings, glass cuttings, assembly list, execution plan, order reports, etc. You should take into account that Ra Workshop Standard lacks two important features: irregular shape design and cutting optimization. If you are interested about these features also you should check Professional, Advanced Professional or Enterprise editions. Cutting optimization, though, can be purchased independently, as an Add On.Recommendation: If you use Ra Workshop Ultra Lite and you are interested in a production software for rectangular windows and doors then Ra Workshop Standard will meet your requirements. Along with the cutting optimization add on you can have a full featured rectangular window production software.

Ra Workshop Advanced Professional - Overview
Ra Workshop Advanced Professional is the complete joinery production edition. It allows you to design all types of windows and doors (including custom shapes) and to generate all the reports needed in the production process. The application includes also cutting optimization in order to use your profiles with minimal losses. The production workflow contains offer projects that are sent electronically to the production center. Here the offers are grouped into production projects. The production projects are rechecked and optimized. After that you can generate all the production paper work.
Optionally you can buy the CNC Add On so you can control the cutting machine (saw) from Ra Workshop. The CNC Add On can control any machine that supports numerical control. If your machine is not listed don’t worry because we can do a custom development just for you. This complete workflow will give your company a real advantage through automated production.
Recommendation: Our recommendation is that any small, medium and large windows and doors fabricator must have at least one Advanced Professional license and several Express (based on individual needs).

Ra Workshop Enterprise is the client/server edition of Ra Workshop. This package contains one license of Ra Workshop Server. This application is a Windows based service application that will manage the connections between the client applications and the database server.

Ra Workshop Enterprise - Overview
Large windows and doors fabricators need strong, flexible and scalable software solutions that are able to integrate with other software for process automation. Ra Workshop Enterprise is designed especially for big companies.Ra Workshop can run in two different ways desktop and client/server, each way having different functionality and performance characteristics. The desktop editions are classic application that runs on a single personal computer. Everything is installed locally: program files, database server, tools. For example, if you have more licenses and you want to make a change to the database you will have to replicate the change on each computer at the time.
Ra Workshop Enterprise is designed as a three tier application which will increase performance, security and scalability. The Enterprise edition is composed of 3 components:

How does Ra Workshop Enterprise implementation works?
The implementation of the Ra Workshop Enterprise implies an analysis of the company’s needs: dividing users into groups depending on their type of activity, analysis of the offer calculation modality (extra costs), analysis of manual labor operations, analysis of management reports and last but not least the planning of the workflow within the factory.Once the analyzing part is completed the next step is to start implementing the results into Ra Workshop. All these settings are done by our team at Pyramid Software under the supervision of your representative.
The Go Live stage means the release of the application into the actual production field. Offer projects will be created. They will be saved on the server from which the production team will open, analyze and group into production projects. The production projects will be optimized based on the factory production capacity and the workflow previously designed. After the optimization process the production reports and machine data files will be generated. Based on the feedback from the production stage, database and/or application tunings will be made. (I.E.: it is possible that we wish for some extra information to appear on the stamps generated by the cutting machine or to modify a code from the database).
The complete automation of joinery production is not easy. It needs a lot of work and most important of all an application that is capable to manage all the details.
